COVID-19
Our firm has been preparing wills and powers of attorney for our clients for more than 15 years.
On April 7th, 2020 the Provincial Government made an order under the Emergency Management and Civil Procedure Act permitting the virtual witnessing of wills and powers of attorney. This important and temporary measure is now available to allow you to have these important documents prepared and executed in these times where it is not possible to be in the same physical space.
We are prepared to assist you comply with these new statutory provisions to take the necessary steps and maintain the necessary safeguards to protect against such things as claims of testamentary incapacity and undue influence.
